FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Where is the nearest shop?

 

  1. Local Bar/Tabac at the junction in MONTHAULT – also a small restaurant (Auberge des Rochers)  –  weekday lunchtimes (1 ½ km.)

 

  1. LOUVIGNE-du-DESERT (5 km. –  10 mins.)  – nearest small town with bakers, butchers  +  Super-U  –  well stocked supermarket, including a good deli.

 

  1. ST. JAMES (20 mins.) – just off Junction 32 of A 84  –  Larger Super-U  –  open Sunday mornings.

 

4.ST. HILAIRE-du-HARCOUET  (15/20 mins.)  –  large Wednesday morning market  + Leclerc, Lidl, & Aldi.

 

  1. FOUGERES (30 mins.) – Carrefour, Leclerc,  Lidl.

 

Do I need to bring fishing bait?

A shooting and fishing shop in St. Hilaire (JACQUES DENYS) sells bait, maggots, boilies, etc. We provide landing nets, fish cradle, unhooking mat, weighing sling and scales.

 

Do I need to bring bed linen and towels?

 

No  –   all provided free of charge.

 

Where is the nearest petrol station?

 

24 – hour @ Super-U, LOUVIGNE  (10 mins.)
